Thread Face Lift
Face lift procedure is the most effective method currently available, especially for the volume losses and skin sagging that occur in the middle and lower parts of the face with specially manufactured threads with cogs or barbs. A new skin tightening method that has recently started to be used shows build-up, tightening and lifting effects in these areas by placing a large number of special threads under the skin. It also increases the quality of the skin and produces vitality in the areas applied.
This method is primarily used in the face and neck region and also shows beneficial effects on under sagging arms and in the inner parts of legs. The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia under office conditions. The required areas are determined by examination and discussion with the patient and the areas where the threads will placed are marked. The number of threads used varies depending on the skin condition. PDO (polydioxanone) threads are applied under the skin by entering from the marked points. As a reaction to these threads, a fibroblast activation occurs in the body and collagen production begins.
Immediately after the procedure, a feeling of tightness begins in the skin but the duration of the full-effect to show up is about 3 months after the collagen production is completed. The period of permanence is 2 years.
