The aesthetic complaints about the genital area are usually longer labium minus, that is, the inner lips, or loosening of the vagina due to deliveries.
A loose vagina can be corrected by removing the excess mucosa and connective tissue. This surgery is completed in about half an hour under sedation or general anaesthesia. The healing period takes a few days. However, sexual intercourse should be avoided for 1 month.
The length on the labia minus, that is, the inner lips, may be structural or may be formed by loosening of the connective tissue over time, it does not cause a functional discomfort, but it can be shortened by an operation if it disturbs the individual regarding the aesthetic point of view.
