Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)
PRP is the abbreviation of ‘platelet-rich plasma’ application. It is a method of separating the blood cells, called platelet, by processing the blood taken from the individual himself/herself and re-injecting the serum prepared rich in these cells into the individual.
A chain of consecutive events begins in the body area where this serum is injected and eventually, the collagen synthesis is increased in those areas. In facial areas it is injected, it leads to a decrease in wrinkles over time, brightness and vitality in the skin and a tightness in pores occur. It is recommended to be administered an average of 3 times at 3-week intervals.
Besides facial rejuvenation, there are also other areas of usage. The application of PRP in the treatment of hair loss or following hair transplantation increases the hair growth. It is used as a promoter in reducing wrinkles in the décolleté and neck region, in accelerating the healing after peeling and in the treatment of skin spots and stretch marks.
