Arm Lift
The lower and rear parts of the upper arm tend to sag with the advanced age or after excessive weight loss. Such sagging is more prominent especially in those who do not do sports. By means of the arm lift surgery, it is possible to remove this excess tissue and to give a tightened appearance to the arm.
However, scars of varying lengths, depending on the size of the deformity, are formed in the rear part of the arm. Therefore, sports and body firming methods with radiofrequency or ultrasound are first recommended to patients. Arm lift surgery is recommended to patients who do not respond to these methods or who have severe deformities.
Arm lift surgery can be performed under local anaesthesia or general anaesthesia. Elastic bandage is applied after the surgery, there is no need to stay in hospital, the healing period is short. Patients can return to daily life within a few days and should wait for 6 weeks for heavy sports.
